From Brackenridge Park to Pearsall Park, San Antonio has some great parks! Not only do I enjoy our park system, but I am enjoying the Parks and Rec Department’s fiesta medal. The medal has papel picados surrounding a woman running in a park. In the center of the medal is a large tree silhouette with the phrase “Viva San Antonio Parks.” The medal is on sale at the Ron Darner Headquarters at 5800 Enrique Barrera Parkway and the Lions Field Adult and Senior Center at 2809 Broadway for $10
