This last medal available tonight at the Got Medal event at Bohanan’s is the Rio San Antonio Cruises medal. This year’s medal was designed by CEO JoAnn Boone herself. Passengers Judge Nelson Wolff, Mayor Julian Castro, District Attorney Susan Reed, and businesswoman and philanthropist Rosemary Kowalski ride in the iconic river barge that hangs from a red ribbon. The barge is driven by Denise Ezquerra, Boone’s sister who lost her battle to Leukemia earlier this year.
The Rio San Antonio Cruises cocktail celebrates the magnificence of the river. Relish in the flavors of the Rio Royal, a delicious libation of white rum, Caffe Lolita, lime juice and simple syrup. Remember, a portion of all proceeds goes to support the San Antonio River Foundation, so make your way over to the party, it just started!
