As you know, I love Fiesta.
I love the food, the parties, the events and the buzz that happens in the city each year in April. And with the 2015 Fiesta tickets officially going on sale today, I could think of no better time to unveil the SA Flavor Fiesta medal!

The medal is a playful interpretation of a Loteria card that features a San Antonio staple—barbacoa and Big Red—with the number on the card indicating the year. Creating this medal was lot of fun and I enjoyed working with my friends to discover this quintessential San Antonio design.
We’re selling the medal on our SA Flavor store and hope that you buy one (or two or ten) to show your SA Flavor pride. The money that I get from the medal sales goes straight back into the blog. I’ve run SA Flavor for almost six years now and it has been a labor of love, but things do cost money. I would like to use the profits from the medal sales to help hire writers to provide more local coverage. So not only are you getting a sweet medal, you’re helping me bring some more amazing stories to the SA Flavor.
